Miss Alicia has been training in all genres of dance for 22 years. She started her training at Happy Feet Dance School. Miss Alicia furthered her dance education at other studios including Broadway Dance Center, The Country Academy of Dance, and A & E Dance Studio. She has trained with top choreographers in the country including Brian Friedman, Dave Scott, Carmit Bachar, Tessandra Chavez and many more.
Miss Alicia continued her dance studies in college. She studied dance and elementary education. Miss Alicia has degrees in dance, elementary education, and music therapy. She is currently studying instructional leadership at Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Miss Alicia has many passions, one being dance, but also loves to sing and act. Fun Fact: Miss Alicia was a competitive Baton Twirler grouping up. She won many titles and awards, including Junior Olympic Champion. She was a singer on the Sarah Brightman Hymn World Tour. Miss Alicia was a dancer on the NY Jets Holiday Spectacular Show. She recently was casted in the Paramount Pictures movie Smile 2 and German TV series Das Traumschiff-Hudson Valley.
This is Miss Alicia's 9th year teaching dance. She is looking forward to reaching the next generation of dancers at Cherilyn's School of Dance.
